This contest recognizes excellence in the field of advertising and marketing. Members compete in their circulation classes and a special award is presented to both the Advertising Director of the Year and the Classified Manager of the Year. Awards are presented at Local Media Association's Fall Publishers' and Advertising Directors' Conference.

Online Platform is Back this Year!
Local Media Association has once again teamed up with NewspaperToolbox to provide the online entry platform for the 2012 Advertising & Promotions Contest. This online contest entry system is designed to make the process of entering contests quicker, easier and less costly than the previous method of mailing ‘hard-copy’ material. It also allows SNA to electronically archive all entries and make them available for review. We sincerely hope you take advantage of this new technology to enter this and other SNA contests throughout the year.
Who Should Enter
Publishers, Advertising Directors, Retail Advertising Managers, Classified Managers and Marketing/Promotions Directors.
Eligibility
This contest is open to SNA members and non-members. All entries must have been published in your newspaper(s) between April 1, 2011–March 31, 2012.
Online entries must be submitted by end of day, Friday, June 1, 2012.
The submission of manual ‘mail-in’ entries will still be acceptes must be postmarked by Friday, June 1, 2012 and received at LMA Headquarters no later than June 8, 2012. Mail-in entries postmarked after June 1, 2012 may not be accepted.

Award Presentation
Winners will be recognized at the Fall Publishers’ and Advertising Directors’ Conference. Awards related specifically to classified advertising will be presented at Classified Advertising Conference later this year. Winners will be notified prior to these conferences. Please plan now to have a representative from your company accept your award(s) at these conferences.
